Day Two Results – JS Sports Development and Representative Carnival

A sky of cluttered clouds and a chilly breeze greeted the players on Day Two of the JS Sports Development and Representative Carnival, and with earlier rain cleared, the ground was in perfect condition for some entertaining football.

The weather may have been cold, but the on-field action was red hot, with the Western Sydney Under 14s Boys going through undefeated to claim the first medals of the day.

The next age group to battle for the gold were the Under 15 Boys, and with regional bragging rights up for grabs, the North West outfit managed a perfect three-from-three to run out winners in an extremely competitive age group.

Finishing off the day were the big bodies of the tournament – the Under 17 boys. The hits were big, the skill high and the results for Western Sydney outstanding as they ran away champions for the first time in the division.

A huge thank you to all the volunteers, parents, spectators, players and umpires for an amazing start to the Carnival. See you all tomorrow for the final day of the carnival!
