Registrations for 2026 are OPEN NOW!
The countdown is on to the 2026 community football season with registrations open now for NAB AFL Auskick, Superkick, Junior Club Football as well as Coaching and Umpiring across Sydney.
In season 2026, the AFL is offering three different pathways of football.
- NAB Auskick – Where the footy fun begins! Through playful, game-based activities, kids learn the basics of AFL while building confidence, coordination and teamwork…all disguised as PLAY!
- Superkick – Ready to kick things up a notch? Superkick consists of one-hour sessions that mixes skill games with modified, tackle free match play, helping kids grow their confidence, teamwork and love for the game!
- Junior Footy – Junior footy is all about mates, memories and match days! Kids develop skills through weekly training, then hit the field on weekends in safe, inclusive teams suitable for players of all abilities.

Those interested in registering as a junior player, NAB AFL Auskick or Superkick participant can find their local club by visiting play.afl, which is also the home for all information regarding community coaching, umpiring, volunteering and general club support.
As a reminder, the Play Your Way vouchers are again in place for the 2026 season supporting more kids to participate in NAB AFL Auskick, Superkick and Junior football.
The Play Your Way vouchers will provide:
- $100 off registration fees for NAB AFL Auskick and junior club participants in Western Sydney (defined as the Sydney Hills region, Sydney West and Sydney South West) participating in Under 13s competition and younger
- $50 off registrations for all new or returning Auskick and Superkick participants in 2026
- $50 off registration Sydney-wide for players transitioning from club NAB AFL Auskick to junior competition
- $50 off registration Sydney-wide for players transitioning into a community club via one of the AFL connect programs running through schools (including school competitions, after school NAB AFL Auskick programs and more) available to up to and including Under 13 competitions.
