Community Club Webinar Series
AFL NSW/ACT are launching a new webinar series for the 2018 football season. Clubs have the opportunity to attend the free webinars throughout the year. These webinars are to help assist clubs in the key areas of administration and operations.
Each webinar session will be recorded and uploaded to AFL NSW/ACT website for future reference and for Clubs who were unable to attend. The webinar series provides year-round touch points and uses expertise across the business with each topic being delivered at relevant times during the year.

Recruiting Umpires – League Appointed Umpires | This interactive session is aimed at League administrators. It discusses strategies to increase both the quantity and quality of the pool of umpires that is appointed independently. How to make your club “All-abilities” friendly | AFL is committed to supporting the rights of people of All Abilities to actively engage in all aspects of Australian Football and ensuring that opportunities to play the game are accessible to all. Improving your Club’s Culture | Club culture is the key to attracting new volunteers, players and members. A poor club culture can be detrimental to your club. Grants and how to win one | There are many opportunities for clubs to gain access to funding for a variety of projects. Improving your home ground | All current and prospective participants want to be able to play in a physical environment which is safe, clean and enjoyable. This topic will look at what amenity upgrades are important (lockable shower cubicles), what upgrades are nice to have (electronic scoreboard) and how you can make them happen.
