Players to Watch:

Brigidine AFL Captain Samara Russell will be looking to play an influential role to lead her side to their first win of the season after being washed out last week. A pocket rocket with genuine on ball ability, Samara can pop up all over the field and create goal scoring opportunities for teammates. Samara’s leadership will be key in getting Brigidine over the line against a strong Ravenswood outfit.

Her playing style is characterised by her high work rate, covering large areas of the field where she is renowned for her second and third efforts in the contest. A natural ball winner, Georgina incorporates a defensive discipline into her game which combines powerfully with her high possession rate. Georgina is an inspirational on-field leader who provides great effort and intensity every time that she represents Ravenswood.
